Add hidden fields to your Zoho Forms

Zoho Forms is a form builder that allows you to capture leads on your website.

With Leadsources, you can track the source of the leads generated in Zoho Forms, alongside 6 other lead source data.

In this guide, we will show you how to add hidden fields in Zoho Forms to start capturing the source of your leads.

Step 1: Open the form #

Log in to Zoho Forms.

Click on the form you want to edit.

Step 2: Add the Single Line fields #

From the left panel, drag and drop the Single Line field in your Zoho Forms.

You can drop this field anywhere on the form. In this example, we add the field at the end of the form.

Repeat the step until you have added a total of 7 Single Line fields to your Zoho Forms.

Step 3: Rename the Single Line fields #

In this step, we want to:

  1. Rename each Single Line field
  2. Set them as hidden field

To do so, select the Single Line field you want to edit.

On the right, the Properties panel opens.

Write the following Field Label for all the 7 Single Line fields:

  1. Channel
  2. Source
  3. Campaign
  4. Term
  5. Content
  6. Landing page
  7. Landing page subfolder

Before saving, scroll down the Properties panel and select the Hide Field checkbox.

Click Save.

Repeat this step for all the 7 Single Line fields.

Step 4: Set up field aliases #

Click on the Settings tab located in the menu.

On the left panel, click Field Alias – Prefill URL.

Then, click Configure Now.

Fill out the Field Label and Field Alias as shown in the table below:
